The build quality of this exhaust is very good. It looks far nicer than the stock exhaust, which was one of the main reasons i purchased this system. However, it seems surprisingly loud, more so than i expected. I actually feel embarrassed going into villages now. Don't get me wrong, it does make the bike sound a lot better but personally it feels a bit over the top. The exhaust baffle seems to block the centre of the exhaust, and the gases go around the outside of it in "a ring". Most other exhaust baffles I have seen have holes in a central tube, and a end plate to force the gases to go through the centre of the baffle. I am actually looking at "universal baffles" online of the sort i just mentioned in an attempt to quieten this pipe a bit as its too loud to me in its current state to be honest. I am surprised its road legal. If this pipe had a quieter baffle it would be perfect but if I can't lower the DB a bit i might be tempted to put the stock pipe back on.
